We are Marcia and Blanca Gamboa. We have been a part of Front Runners for 4.5 and 2 years, respectively.
We are running the virtual Pride 5k this year to come together with our friends and family. 2020 has certainly been a trying year, but with that comes hope, inspiration, community, and love.
Marcia actually attended her first Front Runners Saturday morning run less than 24 hours after arriving in San Diego. The group was so warm and welcoming, she immediately became a member, and this past year joined the FRWSD Board as Membership Co-chair. Front Runners is the very definition of family: a welcoming group of people who look out for and care for each other.
